Our musical
guest: The one-man Beatles band (literally):
Jan
Owen
Experience Jan's highly
acclaimed one-man 'Fab Fouray' show including songs that
would be challenge enough for a four-piece band, let
alone a solo guitarist. You can look forward to the
entire Abbey Road Medley and most amazingly A Day In The
Life, with Jan simulating the 42-piece orchestral
crescendo on his acoustic guitar-- a truly impressive
performance which has to be seen to be believed. In honor
of Lennon's birthday, Jan will also be performing some
classic Lennon solo songs.

Jan just returned
from Liverpool, England, where he performed 8 shows at
the Cavern Club (and 3 other venues), for International
Beatle Week 2004. Out of hundreds of applicants
worldwide, he was one of only 40 acts chosen to perform
there. And, he'll be playing at the Australian Beatles
Festival in Adelaide next June, and has been invited back
to play Beatle Week 2005 next August as well!
Jan is also a songwriter
and has penned over 40 songs. His CD, "Live in Applehead
Studios, Woodstock, NY", features his most requested
Beatles covers, some great classic songs by the likes of
Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, Donovan and Elton John as
well as several of his own excellent compositions. Two
lucky partygoers will each win an autographed copy of
Jan's CD!

held Daytrippin's Party to Celebrate the Beatles First
U.S. Visit 40 years ago! New York City Beatles fans
gathered at the Croton Reservoir Tavern in midtown
Manhattan for an afternoon featuring special guest
speakers and live music. An extra special treat was that
New York's Classic Rock station Q104.3 sent their D.J.
Ken Dashow over to host the event! Ken is the host of his
own Beatles radio show "Breakfast With The Beatles,"
which airs Sunday mornings, from 7:30 to 8:30
AM.

Randolph.
Meanwhile, on Saturday,
February 7 at 11:30 a.m., Daytrippin' held a special
off-season Fab
4 NYC Walking Tour of Beatle
Sites. During the
tour, our group ran into some reporters from NBC Nightly
News with Tom Brokaw. One lucky tour-goer who had a great
tattoo of John Lennon on his leg, was interviewed and the
segment was shown two days later on the February 9
edition of NBC News.
Daytrippin' is planning
to organize many more Beatle-related events in the future
including local New York City events as well as
travel-related tours across the U.S. Our fan club members
